Does someone need to accompany the load? In a goods lift with attendant control, one attendant travels along safely in a closed cabin with internal controls. This allows you to supervise the goods during transport.

01 · IN BRIEF

Attendant control in brief

The most important facts, all in one place.

One person

Exactly one attendant is allowed to travel with the goods. It is not a passenger lift.

Closed cabin

The lift has a closed cabin, with the control buttons inside.

Operation

From the outside, the lift operates automatically. Whoever travels along operates the lift manually from within the cabin.

Levelling

An automatic levelling system ensures the floor is flush with the landing.

Shaft

Supplied with a self-supporting shaft made of galvanized steel, or installed in an existing shaft.

Standard

CE-marked, according to Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC.

02 · HOW IT WORKS

Goods and attendant in one trip

A goods lift with attendant control is a goods lift with extra safety features. The cabin is enclosed so that the attendant stands safely during the trip. The controls are located inside.

If no one is travelling along, the lift operates automatically from the landing. If someone does travel along, the controls switch to manual operation in the cabin. This ensures the lift complies with the European Machinery Directive.

Please note: one person is allowed. For more people, a passenger lift is required.

03 · SELECTION GUIDE

When should you choose attendant control?

The load requires supervision

An employee stays with fragile or valuable goods during the trip.

Loading and unloading on the floor

The attendant travels along and unloads at the destination themselves, without needing stairs or a second person.

A pallet truck goes along

The attendant wheels the pallet truck in and out. View the project at d’n Boeij.

Heavy loads with an attendant

One person can also travel along with high lifting capacities. View the 5,000 kg lift in Germany.
