Hydraulic goods lift, custom built
A hydraulic goods lift uses a hydraulic cylinder to lift pallets, machinery, and goods between floors. Hublift installs the lift in an existing shaft or provides a self-supporting steel shaft, with a lifting capacity of up to 10,000 kg.

01 · IN BRIEF
Hydraulic goods lift at a glance
The most important facts, all in one place.
Operation
A hydraulic cylinder pushes the platform upwards. This is robust for heavy loads and low-maintenance.
Installation
In an existing concrete or masonry shaft, or with a self-supporting steel shaft.
Cylinders
One cylinder as a base. For heavier loads, 2 or 4 cylinders are used for extra stability.
Lift pit
A pit of 150 mm is sufficient. Without a pit, a ramp is installed.
Control system
No machine room required. The control cabinet is located on the ground floor, within 2 m of the lift.
Standard
CE-marked, according to Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC.
02 · CONSTRUCTION
How a hydraulic goods lift is constructed
A hydraulic goods lift consists of a few robust components:
- The lifting platform, on which the load is placed.
- Guide rails and hydraulic cylinder. The rails are located to the left and right of the platform.
- Control cabinet with hydraulic pump, on the ground floor.
- A reinforced concrete wall for mounting the rails, or a self-supporting steel shaft.
- A floor recess or ramp, allowing you to drive straight in.
Because the cylinder pushes the platform, no machine room is required above the lift.

03 · SELECTION GUIDE
When should you choose a hydraulic goods lift?
A lift shaft already exists
In that case, we build the lift into the existing shaft. The landing doors are installed in the front wall.
You transport heavy loads
With 2 or 4 cylinders, the lift can handle up to 10,000 kg, such as machinery or large pallets.
Construction space is limited
No machine room and no deep pit required. A pit of 150 mm or a ramp is sufficient.
An old lift needs to be replaced
Hublift replaces outdated goods lifts, including those in existing shafts. View the replacement in Germany.

08 · FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Questions about the hydraulic goods lift
What is a hydraulic goods lift?
A lift for goods where a hydraulic cylinder pushes the platform upwards. It is robust, low-maintenance, and suitable for heavy loads up to 10,000 kg.
Is a machine room required?
No. The control cabinet with pump is located on the ground floor, within 2 m of the lift.
How deep must the lift pit be?
150 mm is sufficient. If a pit is not possible, we install a ramp.
Can the lift be installed in an existing shaft?
Yes. The lift is built into an existing shaft with solid walls. Without a shaft, we provide a self-supporting steel shaft.
How much does a hydraulic goods lift cost?
A Hublift goods lift starts from €25,000. The price depends mainly on the number of stops and the lifting height. See goods lift prices.
How long is the delivery time?
Average 10 to 12 working weeks after drawing approval, plus approximately 2 weeks of installation by our own technicians.
