For an international cosmetics company in Germany, Hublift replaced an outdated goods lift. The new lift has a capacity of 5,000 kg, fits into the existing concrete shaft, and was TÜV-approved upon completion.

Replacing an outdated lift without renovation
The existing goods lift was outdated and no longer met current safety requirements. The company sought a reliable replacement that would fit in the existing shaft without major modifications to the building.

03 · THE SOLUTION
A custom-made goods lift with cabin
Hublift designed a goods lift that fits perfectly into the existing shaft construction. The lift features a full cabin with laser curtains, allowing one attendant to travel safely with the load.
From the outside, the lift operates automatically. Those traveling with the goods use the manual controls inside the cabin.

04 · INSTALLATION AND INSPECTION
Mounted in the existing shaft, TÜV-approved
The lift was installed in the existing concrete shaft of 2,430 × 3,015 mm. Thanks to careful planning, the installation proceeded smoothly with minimal disruption to production.
After installation, the goods lift was inspected and approved by TÜV, the German inspection institute. This ensures the lift meets all German safety requirements for goods lifts with attendant control.

The goods lift in use
Doors 2,800 mm high
Two IBC containers fit on top of each other in the cabin.
Key access only
Only instructed users operate the lift. The panel in the cabin features emergency communication and an alarm.
Seamless in the shaft
The doors are fully integrated into the existing shaft.
Illuminated, with viewing windows
Other users can always see where the lift is located.
Red loading zone
The red color marks the platform. Goods must always stay within that zone.

Modern, safe, and cost-efficient
The client now has a modern goods lift that meets all German safety requirements. The lift reliably transports goods between floors, with safe attendant control when necessary.
Because the existing shaft was reused, the project remained cost-efficient and no major building modifications were required.
