In this new production building, various goods with and without pallets are transported from the first floor to the second floor. For this purpose, Hublift supplied a goods lift with roller doors in a self-supporting lift shaft. The lift has a capacity of 2500kg and is equipped with 2 lifting columns guaranteeing stable movement of the goods. In cooperation with Takenaka Europe<\/a>, the construction plans were gone through and the drawings coordinated. <\/p>\n

During the planning phase of the new building to be constructed, Hublift was contacted for a goods lift with self-supporting shaft<\/a>. The lift comes had to take up as little space as possible due to the space available and company traffic on site. A capacity of 2500kg and a platform size of 2m x 2m was a requirement. <\/p>\n

Design<\/h2>\n

Due to the location in the building, roller doors were chosen. These doors are quick to open and take up little space around the lift. In addition, the lift is built for 2 stops and has a capacity of 2500kg with a platform size of 2m x 2m. A cabin is mounted on the platform that is closed on 3 sides. This ensures safety and prevents any damage. The lift is further equipped with all safety features that a modern lift should contain within the machine guidelines. <\/p>\n

Installation<\/h2>\n

In consultation with the construction company, during the construction of the building, the lifts were installed by Hublift’s mechanics. During this period, several companies performed work on the construction site. Cooperation and making arrangements with these external parties was therefore essential. In order to be able to work safely at heights, elevating work platforms are used. Upon completion of the installation and prior to delivery, the goods lifts and associated safety systems were extensively tested.<\/p>\n
