In Oneway Bike<\/a> ‘s brand new distribution center, various goods are transported with and without pallets from the first floor to the second floor. For this purpose, Hublift supplied a goods lift with self-supporting lift shaft and a capacity of 1000kg. By equipping the lift with 2 lifting columns, a very stable movement of the goods is guaranteed. In cooperation with Hercuton bedrijfsbouw<\/a>, the construction plans were gone through and the drawings coordinated. Watch the video below for the result. <\/p>\n

Hublift delivered the first lift to Oneway Bike several years ago, in the old premises. After they used these to their full satisfaction, a Hublift goods lift<\/a> was also requested for the new building plans. Optimal and safe movement of goods with a total weight of 1000kg over 2 stops was requested. <\/p>\n

Design<\/h2>\n

The exact dimensions, the desired floor recess and construction details were discussed several times. Together with the structural engineer and the customer, the best solution was chosen, to which the design of the goods lift was tailored. Since no structural shaft was provided, a goods lift with self-supporting shaft was chosen .<\/a> The shaft is mounted on the (shallow) elevator pit and protrudes through the recess in the storey floor. The platform of the lift contains a three-sided shield and a sensor curtain that ensures that no damage can occur to the lift and or elevator shaft. <\/p>\n

Installation<\/h2>\n

In consultation with the construction company, during the construction of the building, the lifts were installed by Hublift’s mechanics. During this period, several companies performed work on the construction site. Cooperation and making arrangements with these external parties was therefore essential. In order to be able to work safely at heights, elevating work platforms are used. After completion of the installation and prior to delivery, the goods lift and its safety systems were extensively tested. The new premises and goods lift have since been put into operation. <\/p>\n
